LA Salle continued its dominant run in the Filoil Flying V Premier Cup after running through the hapless Emilio Aguinaldo College, 83-51, on Friday in San Juan.
Kira Samuel sparked a second-half surge for the Green Archers, who tore through the Generals in the final 20 minutes after a close first half.
Leading by just five, 34-29, at the interval, La Salle turned to their new foreign recruit while upping the notch on defense to clobber the Generals.
The Green Archers limited the Generals to just 22 points in the second half while tallying 49 to score the easy victory and remain unscathed after four matches.
Samuel finished with 28 points on 11-16 shooting alongside nine boards. Former juniors standout Mark Dyke added a double-double of 10 points and 10 boards, while Justin Baltazar terrorized the paint as he also grabbed 10 boards, blocked four shots to go along nine points.
It was in defense, however, where La Salle shone the brightest as they limited the Generals to just 22 percent shooting on the field, making just 15 of their 68 attempts from the field.
Ichcie Altamirano led the Generals with nine points as they dropped to 0-4.
