FUTURE may still be in doubt for the Gomez de Liaño brothers in University of the Philippines, but there's one thing certain: both will be part of Mighty Sports.
Head coach Charles Tiu unveiled on Thursday that brothers Juan and Javi will suit up for the Alex Wongchuking-owned franchise when it makes its return to the 31st Dubai International Basketball Tournament.
"Excited to share that our Mighty Sports team together with Go for Gold and eMedsure are going to join the 31st Dubai Invitational Tournament in January. And we have both the Gomez De Liano brothers on our squad - @juan_swish9 and @javigdl22!," he tweeted.
It won't be the first rodeo for Juan with Mighty as he's played in last year's Dubai tilt, where he teamed up with Lamar Odom and Justin Brownlee. That team wound up with the bronze medal.

Javi, meanwhile, will have his first taste of the action for Mighty, which will also team up with eMedsure and Go for Gold for the invitational tourney.
He is also set to suit up next season for the Nueva Ecija Rice Vanguards in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL), a team which Tiu also coaches.
The Gomez de Liaño brothers remain non-commital on whether they would return to the Fighting Maroons next season.
UP failed to book a return trip to the finals this past UAAP Season 82, squandering its twice-to-beat advantage as the two-seed and fell to University of Santo Tomas.
