GOLDWIN Monteverde has assumed the coaching role of National University on Tuesday during the opening day of the Pilipinas Chinese Amateur Basketball League (PCABL).
Monteverde sat on the bench for the Bullpups in their game against Far Eastern University, but let assistant coach Leo Pujante handle the team for the meantime.
Monteverde has recently accepted the coaching job at NU, a school that won three UAAP titles under head coach Jeff Napa.
Gerry Austin Abadiano and Carl Tamayo, players who are rumored to be also moving from Adamson to NU, however, were not present during NU’s match against FEU.
