FYR Fyter Bacolod was the unlikely champion in the second leg of the Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3 Magiting Cup, taking down Mindoro in the Finals, 21-19, Friday at SM Fairview Events Center.

Andrian Celada soared for the game-clinching lay-up to end the match with 1:55 on the clock as the newcomers won the championship and the P100,000 cash prize in only their second leg.

"Last conference, hindi ko naranasan ito. Dati kami yung nakatingala pero ngayon, isa na kami sa tinitingala. Iba pala yung pakiramdam," said the former Arellano Chief who played for the Tycoon QC Ballers last conference.

Celada scored five of Bacolod's last six points as he towed his side from a 15-17 deficit in the last four minutes.

He finished with seven in the game in the breakthrough victory in the championship game between two first-time finalists in the tourney presented by Coca-Cola.

Mark Yee also had seven points, Mark dela Cruz got four, while Louie Medalla added three in the triumph.

It was an awe-inspiring run for Fyr Fyter Bacolod, which stunned favorites Basilan, 21-17 in the semis.

Mindoro leaned on Rodel Vaygan who poured eight points, as Joshua Saret got six in the bridesmaid finish.

The Tamaraws also edged Equalivet Pateros, 21-15 in their own semifinals series.

David Carlos also claimed his second Dunk Contest win, while James Martinez outshot Vaygan to rule the Two-Point Shootout.

    The Scores:

    BACOLOD 21 -- Celada 7, Yee 7, Dela Cruz 4, Medalla 3.

    MINDORO 19 - Vaygan 8, Saret 6, Bolos 5, Ilarde 0.
