FRENCH side Lyon ended Pasig Chooks' run in the the Chooks-to-Go Manila Challenger with a 20-17 win on Sunday at SM Fairview Events Center.
Raphael Wilson sparked a 6-0 run as the Frenchmen to silence the boisterous local crowd, erasing a 10-13 deficit.
"No excuses," said Joshua Munzon, who scored seven for Pasig.
Nikola Pavlovic paced Pasig with nine points as Dylan Ababou scored one.
Giaimo led Lyon with seven points as Herve Touré got five in the win to advance to the semifinals against Gagarin of Russia.
Riga Ghetto and Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy dispute the other spot in the final, with a ticket to the 2019 Fiba 3x3 World Tour Jeddah Masters in October at stake.
Pasig Chooks was the lone local team to make it through the group stages.
"Look around this venue. Everyone is cheering for you," said Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3 league owner Ronald Mascarinas, who promised a token of appreciation to the top Filipino club.
Pasig hurdled Isabela City and Zamboanga in the qualifying draw, before pulling off a 1-1 card in Pool D after a tough 22-16 defeat to Ulaanbaatar and a 19-15 thriller over Kranj to book its spot in the knockout playoffs.
