FRANZ Pumaren is one busy person these days, but doesn't mind juggling his duties with GlobalPort and Adamson.

Pumaren was on the sidelines when the Falcons played their first game in the Filoil Premier Cup, considered the top preseason tournament of the summer, on Tuesday.

This marks the first time Pumaren holds the head coach position for both Adamson in the UAAP and GlobalPort in the PBA.

Pumaren, however, is confident he can balance GlobalPort’s campaign in the PBA with Adamson’s preparation for the UAAP at the same time.

“I might end up as a consultant again. Actually, konti lang trabaho eh. Ang mas maraming trabaho sa akin si Manny Pacquiao. Nakakaya niya so kaya ko rin siguro,” said Pumaren, drawing laughs from reporters.

Kidding aside, Pumaren sees no problem in coaching two separate teams. The Adamson coach, who is also a Quezon City councilor, said he is used to multi-tasking.

So far, Pumaren’s juggling act has been working wonders as the Falcons already secured two titles during the offseason.

Pumaren also said he knows how to set his priorities when it comes to handling both teams. GlobalPort, he said, also understands his situation with Adamson, which is he is thankful of.

“Okay naman ‘yun. GlobalPort knew when they got me, they know my situation and our agreement. I’m used to being busy,” said Pumaren.
