FOTON has enlisted Jaja Santiago and Mika Reyes as muses for the opening ceremony of the Pilipinas Commercial Basketball League (PCBL) Chairman’s Cup on Sunday at the Malolos City Sports and Convention Center.
The names of Santiago and Reyes appeared in the official lineups released to the media during the league’s press conference on Thursday although it is still unclear if both, or at least one of them, will actually show up.
Santiago, who plays for Foton’s women’s volleyball team in the Philippine Superliga, has a scheduled match for the Lady Bulldogs in the UAAP on Sunday, 2 p.m. against Adamson
Meanwhile, La Salle plays Far Eastern University on Saturday, leaving Reyes apparently available on the opening day of the PCBL.
This will not be Reyes' first time to be named muse of a basketball team, having played the same role for Barako Bull in the opening ceremony of the 2015-2016 PBA season last year.
