DID you think national coach Tab Baldwin would be a picture of a relaxed dude in his debut in the local college game.

Well, look again.

The American-New Zealander was a bundle of emotions on the bench when he coached Ateneo for the first time in the Filoiol Flying V Preseason Premier Cup, shouting instructions to players and jawing at referees in the Blue Eagles' match against University of the East on Saturday.

Upon taking on the Ateneo job, Baldwin said he's excited to return to the college game for the first time in a long while, adding the UAAP is all about teaching.

Well, with an team that no longer has Kiefer Ravena star starting next season, Baldwin has his work cut out for him. And judging from these pictures, now we know that the Gilas coach has hit the ground running.

And oh, the Blue Eagles lost to the Red Warriors, 91-93.
