Adamson Falcons score wire-to-wire win over undermanned D-League side Flying V in tuneup

ADAMSON led from start to finish, scoring a 94-67 victory over undermanned Flying V on Wednesday in a tuneup game in the Filoil Flying V Preseason Premier Cup in San Juan.

Simon Camacho led Adamson with 16 points, 11 rebounds, two steals and three blocks.

Jerrick Ahanmisi scored 14 points, while Keith Zaldivar and Sean Manganti combined for 23 markers.

The Falcons took a 23-18 start and were simply unstoppable.

"Instruction ni coach Franz (Pumaren) was to give chance sa mga di masyado nabibigyan ng playing time," said Adamson assistant coach Jack Santiago.

"Nag-respond naman mga players and they gave our first group yung pahinga."

Gab Banal had 12 points for the Thunder, who were without star Jeron Teng and Thomas Torres.

Teng and Torres were excused as they took their final exams at La Salle on Wednesday.

Eric Salamat scored 11 and Oda Tampus added 10 for the Thunder.
