SAN Sebastian College scored its third straight win, beating Mapua, 76-63, on Monday in the Filoil Flying V Preseason Premier Cup.

Michael Calisaan posted a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds as the Stags improved their win-loss record to 3-1.

"I guess 'yung right approach namin (of) everybody playing good defense, (showing) intensity and aggressiveness, 'yun naman siguro (ang nagpapanalo) kasi kung titignan mo, mababa 'yung percentage namin sa offense."

"I guess it's the defense that made the difference," said San Sebastian coach Egay Macaraya.

Jerick Fabian also had a good outing with 15 points and three rebounds for San Sebastian, which lost in its opening game against Adamson.

Laurence Victoria had 18 points, while Andrew Estrella added 16 points as the Cardinals continued to struggle without Allwell Oraeme and Darell Menina and remained winless in five games.
