ADAMSON clawed back from seven points down to hack out a thrilling 64-61 win over San Sebastian in the Filoil Flying V Preseason Premier Cup on Wednesday.

Sean Manganti fired 19 points to go with four rebounds and two steals for the Falcons, who followed up an overtime win over Arellano to climb atop the heap with a 2-0 card.

But it was Jerrick Ahanmisi who came up big in the dying seconds as he scored the Falcons' last five points including the baseline drive that put them on top for good with 19.1 ticks left.

Allyn Bulanadi botched a three-pointer in the ensuing play before Ahanmisi sealed the victory with a pair of free throws.

"For me it's a good experience for us winning, two close games," said Adamson coach Franz Pumaren. "At least we're getting used to playing in a situation like that."

Ahanmisi and Robbie Manalang finished with 13 and 12 points, respectively, for Adamson.

The Stags looked poise to steal the game by opening the fourth period on a 13-2 tear capped by RK Ilagan's three-pointer, 51-47.

They even led 58-51 before the Falcons conjured magic in the final stretch to turn the game around.

Michael Calisaan paced San Sebastian with 15 points.
