Frankie Lim laments Perpetual Help Altas' lack of consistency

PERPETUAL Help coach Frankie Lim lamented the Altas lack of consistency that allowed the San Beda Red Lions to gain momentum early in their game in the FilOil Flying V Preseason Tournament game on Friday at The Arena in San Juan.

“Sabi ko nga, ito ang problema ng team na ito sometimes they play so well, you love them, the next thing you know  they don’t play well. Ang hirap, ang hirap,” said Lim.

“Noong second half we did pretty well and if we did the same in the first half hindi sana lumaki ng ganoon ’yung lamang. So sa akin pwede pala gawin bakit hindi pa ginawa noong una,” he added.

Perpetual Help slipped to 1-6.

It has been seven years since Lim last coached a collegiate team and it was when he led San Beda to its 21st NCAA men’s basketball title.

“Normal, not… just playing against a normal team, any other team,” said Lim when asked how was it like playing against his former team.

The Altas take on Emilio Aguinaldo College on Sunday.
