LJHAY GONZALES of Far Eastern University and SJ Belangel of Ateneo made waves in the recently-concluded Nike All-Asia Camp in China, winning individual awards.

Gonzales made the biggest impression as he was named Most Outstanding Player in the annual camp while Belangel earned a place in the Mythical Five, according to a tweet by Ateneo juniors coach Joe Silva.

Gonzales steered the Baby Tamaraws to the Season 79 crown and was named the Finals MVP, while Belangel was a Mythical Five winner in last season's juniors basketball wars in the UAAP.

He was also named Best Defensive player.

Also taking part in the by-invitation camp were UAAP Season 79 juniors MVP Juan Gomez De Liano of University of the Philippines, Kai Sotto of Ateneo, and Dave Ildefonso of Ateneo.

Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker attended the proceedings to serve as an invitation to the youth cagers.
