RJ Abarrientos was voted into the 2022-23 KBL All-Star Game as the lone Asian import to earn his place in the midseason spectacle.
The Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus guard was called to see action in the Jan. 15 showpiece at Suwon KT SonicBoom Arena right in his first season in Korea.

Abarrientos is averaging 13.59 points on 34.7-percent clip from deep, to go with 4.94 assists, 3.42 rebounds, and 1.82 steals.
He amassed 48,811 votes to squeak in and nab the 24th spot in the All-Star pool.
Heo Hoon of Jeonju KCC Egis led the fan voting for the second straight season after collecting 142,475 votes. Placing second was Lee Dae Sung of Daegu KOGAS Pegasus who got 96,186 votes.
The two will serve as team captains for the opposing sides in an All-Star Draft to be held next month.
Yang Hong Seok of Suwon KT SonicBoom was third with 93,320 votes, Seoul SK Knights' Choi Jun Yong was fourth (92,902) and Anyang KGC's Byun Jun Hyung was fifth (92,867 votes).
Also named among the reserves were Korean naturalized player Ra Gun-A (Ricardo Ratliffe), and reinforcements Assem Marei of Changwon LG Sakers and Omari Spellman of Anyang KGC.
