FIL-AM Nation Select-USA ended National University’s reign in the National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) with an 81-64 win on Wednesday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Terrence Hill had 21 points, while Sebastian Margate had 19 points as Fil-Am Nation advanced to the Division One Fantastic Eight (quarterfinals) after dethroning the three-time champions Bullpups.
Former Gilas Youth player Jacob Bayla also had 14 points, while Andy Gemao added 13 for Fil-Am Nation, which arranged a quarterfinal duel with One Media TV48 Naga on Thursday.

Elijah Yusi had 14 points to pace the Bullpups.
Reigning UAAP champion Adamson also advanced to the quarterfinals after beating University of the East, 65-57, as University of Santo Tomas defeated Crossover Canada, 85-60.
Mapua defeated FMLP/KMTE Davao, 63-58, and San Sebastian beat 1San Rafael, 71-69, to make it to the quarterfinals.
One Media TV48 Naga defeated Toyomoto Davao, 68-59, while Batang Tiaong won over PPG Tarlac, 80-64, to also make it to the last eight.
