JAKE Figueroa is finally heading to Korea to begin his professional career.
The National U forward is set to fly to the Land of the Morning Calm on Thursday, as he joins his new club Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus.
"Excited na. At the same time, ready lang sa panibagong challenge," said the Kapampangan forward who was part of the UAAP Season 88 Mythical Team.

His arrival couldn't have come at a better time for Ulsan which is currently near the bottom of the standings at 11-21.
Figueroa is hoping that his fine form in his last season with the Bulldogs, where he averaged 13.9 points, 7.2 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 2.1 steals, and 1.0 block, would translate into success in Korea.
But before he made the flight, Figueroa made sure to pay tribute to his team, rejoining NU for one final time on Wednesday before embarking on this new chapter.
