ONE last chance for Olympic basketball awaits Gilas Pilipinas in the 2024 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament (OQT) in Riga, Latvia.

With the Paris Games just a month away, four Olympic berths are still up for grabs, as 24 competing teams are evenly split into four mini-tournaments in Latvia, Spain, Greece and Puerto Rico.
Joining Gilas in Riga are host nation Latvia and Georgia in Group A, with Brazil, Cameroon, and Montenegro in Group B. The top two teams in each group will play the crossover knockout semifinals before the coveted Olympic berth is contested in the final.
In terms of time zone gaps, the Philippines is five hours ahead of Latvia. But even from home or wherever you may be, here's how you can catch the Philippines' last crack at its first Olympic appearance in 52 years.
LIVE TV AND STREAMING
Local broadcast and streaming schedules for the FIBA OQT have been released, with both games taking place on the same day, Philippine time.
- GILAS vs LATVIA: Thursday, July 4 (12 a.m.)
- GILAS vs GEORGIA: Thursday, July 4 (8:30 p.m.)
Gilas' FIBA OQT opener against host Latvia will air live on One Sports, One Sports+, and through online streaming platform Pilipinas Live.
Meanwhile, Gilas' evening match vs. Georgia can be caught live on One Sports, RPTV, and Pilipinas Live, with a delayed telecast an hour later on One Sports+.
Mobile services provider Smart Communications, Inc. will also stream Gilas matches live and for FREE via the Smart LiveStream App.
Downloadable on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, the Smart LiveStream App will also make the live stream accessible to subscribers of all networks.
FILOIL WATCH PARTY
For Gilas diehards in San Juan or those who seek to be in the company of fellow fans, this watch party is for you!
The FilOil Ecooil Centre, in partnership with Baygon, will host free watch parties for both Gilas' FIBA OQT matches.
Gates open at 9 p.m. on July 3 for Gilas' midnight match with Latvia, while entrance begins at 6 p.m. on July 4 for game vs. Georgia.
