TONY Parker came up with nine straight points in the second quarter and kept France going in the third en route to an 84-70 win over Latvia on Tuesday that earned them a spot in the Eurobasket semifinals.
Eurobasket’s all-time scoring leader finished with 18 points as France arranged a match against Spain in the round of four.
He made seven straight to push France to the lead, forcing Latvia to call timeout, but that didn's stop the San Antonio Spurs main playmaker and he went on to make another jumper for a four-point cushion.
