SPAIN topped FIBA Europe for the third time in the last four tournaments, with Pau Gasol proving he is still the main man in the continental championship.
With a cast that featured mainly European league stars and with Chicago Bulls teammate Nikola Mirotic as the only other NBA player in the squad, Gasol came up with big games and Spain went on to cap the run with an 80-63 win over Lithuania on Sunday in Lille.
