THAILAND notched its first victory in the 2017 Seaba Under-16 Championship, beating Indonesia, 79-69, on Tuesday the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
Arnagorn Homthuanlom scored 21, while Tanawat Preechahan ended up with 14 points as the Thais improved their record to 1-1.
The Thais are in third place in the standings.
Only three teams from Southeast Asia will advance to the Fiba Asia Under-17 Championship this year.
Christopher Felix Alexander had 21 points for the Indonesians, winless in three games.
