Terrence Jones mini me is in the country - and he's Fil-American

TERRENCE Jones' mini-me is now in the country and he's wasting no time immersing in the Filipino culture.

And what better way for him to do that than to be in attendance for his dad's game as TNT battled Magnolia on Wednesday in the PBA Commissioner's Cup.

Eight-year-old Ajani Jones, who is half-Filipino, arrived early this week and came to Smart Araneta Coliseum wearing a tot-sized version of his dad Terrence's TNT jersey.

He even joined the team during the halftime shootaround, mixing it up with his father's TNT teammates just before the second half started.

For Jones, this experience will be big as his son will have a chance to see the land where his mother's family came from.

"He's going to see his culture and where his family is from. It’s going to be fun," said the former Houston Rocket in an earlier interview.

Jones is undoubtedly the yardstick for reinforcements this 2019 PBA Commissioner's Cup, leading the KaTropa to a 9-1 record through 10 games.

TNT is shooting for the top seed in the midseason conference as it battles the Hotshots for its final assignment in the eliminations.
