KAI Sotto was a towering presence in Gilas Pilipinas' practice on Monday night at the Meralco gym.

The teen prodigy from Ateneo attended his first practice session with the two separate national team pools being prepared for the 2019 FIBA World Cup qualifiers and the FIBA World Cup in 2023.

At over seven feet, Sotto is the tallest in the Gilas pool, but also the youngest at 15 years old.

His father, former PBA player and now NLEX coaching staff member Ervin Sotto said his son decided to attend the national team practice since he has no pending school assignments and activities.
