EXCEPT for the two naturalized players, Team Pilipinas got a complete attendance from its 13-man local crew in the training pool when it resumed its weekly practice Monday for the FIBA World Cup qualifiers.

Injured big men Raymond Almazan and Troy Rosario already joined the team in its scrimmage at the Meralco gym.

Others joining the two were Jayson Castro, Mark Barroca, Scottie Thompson, June Mar Fajardo, Gabe Norwood, Japeth Aguilar, Paul Lee, Poy Erram, Marcio Lassiter, Roger Pogoy, and collegiate standout Thirdy Ravena.

Not around were naturalized players Andray Blatche and Christian Standhardinger.

Coach Yeng Guiao was naturally satisfied with the turnout as the team had its longest practice since it resumed preparations for the final window of the qualifiers set Feb. 21 to 24.

"We've completed the lineup today, of course except Blatche who's definitely coming in on Friday," said Guiao.

"It's a little easier making the adjustments because lahat naman halos except si (Roger) Pogoy and (Mark) Barroca already experienced playing for me.

Guiao added though, both Barroca and Pogoy are fitting in nicely to the team's system.

"I don't think there's going to be any problem. They're also very intelligent, mataas naman ang IQ," he said of the two guards from Magnolia and TnT Katropa, respectively.

"Mark Barroca is experienced. Si Pogoy naman is naturally adapted to the system because he can shoot the outside shot," added Guiao. "He's just a very good two-way player na who can play offense, who can play defense. So adjustment is going to be easy."
