GILAS Pilipinas is still in talks with Jordan Clarkson on when he'll be coming over to join the national team in its Fiba Basketball World Cup preparations.
Coach Chot Reyes made the disclosure with just over a month left before competitions in basketball's biggest stage kicks off in Manila, Japan, and Indonesia.

"Talks are ongoing with team manager Butch (Antonio). So you have to check," said Reyes.
Asked out about the situation of the Utah Jazz guard, Antonio deferred saying anything so as not to preempt the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP).
"The SBP will make an announcement on that," he said.

Clarkson, who suited up for Gilas during the fourth window of the World Cup qualifiers last year, earlier committed at least six weeks training and playing for the national team.
His contract renegotiations with the Jazz had been a concern earlier, although the issue is now out of the way after he agreed to sign a new three-year contract extension with Utah reportedly worth $55 million.
But up until now, the 6-foot-6 naturalized player has yet to arrive in the country.
The national team is now entering the crucial phase of its training after spending a three-week camp in Europe earlier.
It is set to leave for China in Guandong for a pocket tournament against Jordan, Iran, and Senegal.
Reyes isn't certain yet whether Clarkson would already be available by then.
"Basta talks are ongoing," he said.
