Reports reaching SPIN.ph bared the 26-year-old Fil-Am guard of the Cleveland Cavaliers has been given clearance by the Indonesia Asian Games Organizing Committee (INASGOC) to suit up for the Philippines in the August 18 to Sept. 2 meet.

The approval was made during the eligibility deliberation of the 14 teams seeing action in the basketball competition of the quadrennial meet.

Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) president Al Panlilio said he also heard about the good news but would rather wait for the official announcement.

"That's what I am hearing but waiting for the official announcement," said Panlilio in a communique from Thailand where he was with top SBP officials to support the Batang Gilas' campaign in the FIBA Asia U-19 Championship.
