JAKARTA – The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) has appointed Ryan Gregorio as a special assistant to the president.
SBP president Al Panlilio made the appointment in a letter dated Thursday.
Panlilio said Gregorio’s specific functions include “identifies, researches, and provides personal input to the president on matters as assigned including involvement with budgets, strategic planning, shared governance, and day to day operations” and “supports the president on future focused and high priority program initiatives and handles delegation of projects.”
Gregorio, a three-time PBA champion and a three-time PBA Press Corps Coach of the Year, is here for the 18th Asian Games as the team’s assistant coach and a chief scout.
