ARE SAN Miguel and Barangay Ginebra joining TNT in providing the players for Gilas Pilipinas in the November window of the Fiba Basketball World Cup Asia qualifiers?
That seems to be the scenario based on the Commissioner’s Cup schedule released by the PBA on Wednesday.
Gilas Pilipinas is slated to face Jordan on November 10 and Saudi Arabia on November 13, all of which are away games.

San Miguel will play Ginebra on November 6, their last game before the fifth window, with the Beermen facing Magnolia next on November 16, and the Gin Kings taking on Blackwater on November 18.
TNT, on the other hand, will play Terrafirma on November 5, and will then go up against Meralco on November 16.
The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas and Gilas coach Chot Reyes have yet to confirm the development.

The PBA said that it has allowed the participation of its players for the November window of the Asia qualifiers, but limited the scope to only two to three teams. The league also said it will not pause its games during the Fiba window.
The possible involvement of San Miguel, the recently crowned Philippine Cup champions, in the November window has opened the chance for the likes of six-time MVP June Mar Fajardo and CJ Perez to be part of the pool.
Barangay Ginebra has already been part of the Asia qualifiers with head coach Tim Cone joining Reyes in the Gilas coaching staff, with Scottie Thompson and Japeth Aguilar playing for the national team in the August window.
TNT has been a regular participant in the Gilas Pilipinas especially with Reyes, the team’s coach, at the helm for Gilas.
