TERRENCE Romeo has also apologized for his actions during the free-for-all that occurred between Gilas Pilipinas and Australia in the Fiba Basketball World Cup Asian qualifiers on Monday night at the Philippine Arena.
In his Instagram post, Romeo apologized to the Filipino basketball fans, while thanking them for their support to the team. Romeo also said he will try to win back the fans’ admiration towards him and Gilas.
Romeo also apologized to the Australian basketball team, while encouraging everyone to move on from the incident.
Romeo’s apology came after he was on a combative mood on Twitter hours after the brawl, when he told critics to become Australians if they felt the incident was an embarrassment.
