TERRENCE Romeo makes his much awaited return to the Gilas Pilipinas squad as he was included in coach Chot Reyes' 12-man roster for the Philippines tussle against Chinese Taipei on Friday for the third window of the 2018 Fiba World Cup Asian qualifiers.
The TNT guard, who missed the first two windows due to a knee contusion, wears the national team tri-colors anew as he joins a practically intact roster for the tiff at Taipei Heping Basketball Gymnasium.
Naturalized big man Andray Blatche once again leads the lineup together with mainstays Jayson Castro, June Mar Fajardo, Gabe Norwood, Japeth Aguilar and beleaguered Calvin Abueva.
Completing the squad are Troy Rosario, Allen Maliksi, Matthew Wright, Roger Pogoy and Jio Jalalon.
Carl Bryan Cruz, Baser Amer, and cadet Troy Rike, who were all part of the 15-man pool that flew to Taiwan, missed the cut.
Gilas Pilipinas has already qualified for the second round of the qualifiers with its 3-1 card, with Reyes using the third window as the team's preparations for the next round of games.
The Philippines earlier trounced Chinese Taipei, 90-83 at Smart Araneta Coliseum in November last year.
