ROBERT Bolick declined to comment on Friday about his cryptic tweet that was made shortly after the announcement of the 15-man Gilas Pilipinas pool in the 30th Southeast Asian Games.
Bolick didn't make himself available for an interview to reporters seeking his side on the now controversial tweet that made rounds on social media following NorthPort’s loss to Magnolia, 96-80, on Friday at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
Bolick was criticized on social media about a tweet that many perceived to be directed at Gilas Pilipinas and its new coach Tim Cone over his non-inclusion in the 15-man pool for the SEA Games.
“I want to make sure you made a mistake #ChallengeAccepted,” wrote Bolick, just a while after he was named to the 3x3 team and not the five-a-side SEA Games team.
The NorthPort rookie, however, made it clear that the tweet was not about Gilas Pilipinas, but about a certain tournament in DOTA, a popular online game.
“I want to make sure you made a mistake #ChallengeAccepted #DOTATOURNAMENT. Hindi po sa Gilas,” Bolick clarified.
