GILAS Pilipinas plunged back to work a day after arriving from a training camp in Spain, with 12 players showing up for a Wednesday session at Meralco Gym.
Andray Blatche spearheaded those present together with captain Gabe Norwood, as well as holdovers Japeth Aguilar and Paul Lee.
Also attending the session were Mark Barroca, Poy Erram, Matthew Wright, Beau Belga, Kiefer Ravena, CJ Perez, and Robert Bolick.
The Nationals came home late Tuesday night after a solid training in Spain, where they finished with a 1-1 win-loss record in the Torneo de Malaga, losing to Democratic Republic of Congo before bouncing back with a huge win over Cote d'Ivoire.
Raymond Almazan also rejoined the squad after failing to join the Spain training camp owing to visa problems.
The Philippines are bracing for a two-game series against Australian club Adelaide 36ers next week before flying to China later this month for the 2019 Fiba World Cup.
Gilas is bracketed in Group D with Italy, Serbia, and Angola, with the games slated in Foshan.
