TODAY, Quentin Millora-Brown is set to make his first contribution to Gilas Pilipinas.
It won't come as one of the Philippine team's players suited up for its tuneup game against the Macau Black Bears, however.
Rather, QMB will stand opposite Gilas inside the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
After signing with Macau in early July, the 6-foot-10 big has put up 12.5 points, 11.75 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks to help the Black Bears win a third straight -and fourth overall - leg in The Asian Tournament (TAT).
“I'm so excited to be able to play against the guys, I'm excited to see them do well when they go play in general,” he said, as he looks forward to matching up against onetime UAAP rival Kevin Quiambao, as well as fellow University of the Philippines product Carl Tamayo.

With that, even as Millora-Brown's dream to play for the Philippines remains a question mark, he still has a golden opportunity to help them prepare for the continental meet tipping off on August 6.
“Hopefully, this will be a fun game to be able to play against them and get them ready to play. Right now, that's what I can do, so I'm excited for it,” he said.
