THIS buzzer-beater may very well turn out to be a game-winner for Gilas Pilipinas, as it will now head into the second window of the FIBA World Cup 2027 Asian Qualifiers with Quentin Millora-Brown in tow.
Days of negotiations ultimately had a good ending, as first reported by SPIN.ph, with the 6-foot-11 Fil-American center now raising the ceiling of the Philippines against the powerhouse Boomers and Tall Blacks.

"After direct conversations with Quentin Milllora-Brown and his family, the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas announces that he is en route to Manila from Japan," the SBP said in a statement on Thursday.

That means that QMB will arrive in Manila on the same day and will join ongoing Gilas training as early as Friday.
Once there, the UAAP champion with the University of the Philippines will make it so that head coach Tim Cone will not have to go against Australia and New Zealand lacking in size.

The SBP furthered that Millora-Brown still stands as a pillar for the present and future of the national team program.
"The SBP appreciates his continued commitment to the program. He’s ready to suit up for Gilas and is going to be an integral part of the current and future of the national team," it said.
