TEAM Pilipinas hopes everything is fine with Andray Blatche after the country's naturalized player figured in a car accident early Monday morning.

Team manager Butch Antonio said he was aware of what happened to the 6-foot-11 former NBA player, who has yet to respond to his text messages at posting time.

"Yes I saw (his post), pero wala pa siya reply," said Antonio.

Blatche posted on his Instagram account a video of two wrecked vehicles which figured in a collision and crashed into a metal street sign.

"They tried to take me and 2voicz out," wrote Blatche in the caption of the video, which already had more than 7,000 views.

Blatche obviously was with a friend when the accident took place, although he didn't say where it happened. The former NBA player plays mainly as an import in the Chinese Basketball Association.

"I supposed so," said Antonio when asked if Blatche is in the US.

The naturalized player didn't suit up for Team Pilipinas in the last FIBA World Cup qualifiers as he is serving a three-game suspension following the July 2 brawl between the Philippines and Australia.

He is eligible to play for the national team again during the fifth window of the home-and-away tournament later this year.
