Roger Pogoy shakes off PBA Finals heartbreak, jumps back into action for Gilas mission

ROGER Pogoy only had a few days of rest after TnT Katropa conceded the PBA Commissioner's Cup championship to San Miguel Beer in a fiercely fought finale.

He would have loved a longer break but with Gilas Pilipinas calling ahead of the Jones Cup in Chinese-Taipei, the Cebuano guard said fatigue no longer matters.

Pogoy was back in the gym to join the rest in the pool bannered by prodigy Kobe Paras as well as rising stars like Jio Jalalon and Kiefer Ravena on Thursday.

Thanks to his stint in the last Seaba championship, Pogoy hardly had a hard time adjusting to the dribble-drive offense - a system which coach Nash Racela is also running with TnT.

Although he joined the training weeks late, Pogoy is confident he will get in sync with his teammates before the team leaves for Taipei on Friday next week.
