A GILAS Pilipinas side infused with youth got back in the grind on Monday in preparation of the second window of the Fiba World Cup qualifiers next month - and beyond.

More than half of the 23-man pool for the 2023 World Cup that the country is co-hosting showed up to practice with the current veteran-powered pool that started its buildup for the second window of the qualifiers of the 2019 edition.

Isaac Go, Thirdy Ravena, Kemark Carino, Paul Desiderio, J-jay Alejandro, Javee Mocon, Robert Bolick, Juan Gomez De Liano, Will Gozum, CJ Perez, Arvin Tolentino, Jeo Ambohot, and Joshua Sinclair were the young standouts in attendance.

Kiefer Ravena, Troy Rosario, Allein Maliksi, Carl Cruz, Roger Pogoy, Mac Belo, Kevin Alas, Jio Jalalon, Japeth Aguilar, Jayson Castro, Matthew Wright, and Gabe Norwood were the current pool members present.

June Mar Fajardo, Calvin Abueva, and Raymond Almazan were the ones absent in coach Chot Reyes' 16-man pool for the games against Australia and Japan next month.
