JUST days after being named to Gilas Pilipinas' pool for the 2023 Fiba World Cup, some of the country's most promising young players started arriving at the Meralco Gym on Monday for its first practice.

While the session is primarily for the Gilas team that will see action in the second window of the 2019 World Cup qualifiers, Chot Reyes also gathered the players he envisioned to make up the 2023 team.

Among the early birds were Ateneo big man Isaac Go, San Beda heroes Robert Bolick and Javee Mocon, and University of the Philippines standouts Paul Desiderio and Juan Gomez de Liano.

Also spotted were Kemark Carino, Will Gozum, Joshua Sinclair, and Jay Alejandro.
