GILAS Pilipinas played its first tune-up game in preparation for the William Jones Cup against PBA team NLEX at the Meralco Gym on Wednesday evening.

Chot Reyes' squad was in full force as the nationals look to gain traction for the tournament that will be held in Taiwan from July 15 to 23.

Seaba veterans Jio Jalalon and Matthew Wright led the squad alongside young guns Kiefer Ravena, Ray Parks, Kobe Paras and Christian Standhardinger.

Import Mike Myers also suited up as Mac Belo played his first full game since the injury.

The Road Warriors were also complete, led by former national team members Asi Taulava, Mac Baracael and Larry Fonacier who played for the first time for the Road Warriors since being traded from TNT.

Coach Jojo Lastimosa is calling the shots for NLEX in the absence of Yeng Guiao.
