THE Gilas Pilipinas squad bound for the Fiba Asia Cup was finally complete in its fifth practice for the Fiba Asia Cup following the arrival of Calvin Abueva on Monday night.

After missing the first four practices of Gilas, Abueva finally showed up just a day after Gilas coach Chot Reyes gave him an ultimatum.

PBA commissioner Chito Narvasa also dropped by the Meralco gym on a rainy night as the team's preparations for the Beirut, Lebanon showcase kicked into high gear.

Joining Abueva in Monday's training were June Mar Fajardo, Gabe Norwood, Jayson Castro, Fil-German Christian Standhardinger, Terrence Romeo, Roger Pogoy, Raymond Almazan, Matthew Wright, Carl Bryan Cruz, Japeth Aguilar, and Jio Jalalon for the Fiba Asia Cup-bound team.

Abueva later gave mediamen the slip, sneaking out of the gym after practice.
