GILAS Pilipinas held another shortened practice on Monday night despite having enough players at the Meralco gym.

Unlike last week when only eight members of the Gilas pool were in uniform ready to train, two more suited up this week, but the training session finished an hour early again.

Assistant coach Jong Uichico called the shots anew with coach Tab Baldwin yet to return from the US following the death of his brother.

"It was just a review again," Uichico said, adding this was their last practice session before Gilas goes on a break during the PBA Commissioner's Cup playoffs. "Para pag balik ni coach Tab, alam pa rin nila yung mga options dun sa Swing."

“We didn’t want to go live kasi – knock on wood - baka may mangyari pa, especially coming into the crucial games," the Tropang TNT mentor added.

Jayson Castro, Marc Pingris, Calvin Abueva, Gabe Norwood, Ranidel de Ocampo, LA Tenorio, Japeth Aguilar, and Troy Rosario led the attendees along with Mo Tautuaa and Kiefer Ravena.

June Mar Fajardo, Jeff Chan, and Paul Lee were present, but were in street clothes.
