KOBE Paras makes his comeback to the national team when he joins Kiefer Ravena, Jeron Teng, and Raymar Jose in the 3x3 squad bound for the Fiba 3x3 World Cup 2017 in Nantes, France, Fiba announced on its website on Friday.

Paras, who recently joined Cal State Nothridge in the US NCAA after one uneventful season at Creighton, brings his act to 3x3 basketball where he has played twice for the Philippines in the Fiba 3x3 U18 World Cups in 2013 and 2015.

The 19-year-old prodigy won the dunk contest at both events.

This time, he will be joined by three college stars in Ravena, Teng, and Jose in the team that is grouped with former European champions Slovenia and Romania as well as host France and El Salvador in the June 17-21 event in Nantes.

The Philippines has seen action in the Fiba 3x3 World Tour with teams led by Terrence Romeo (2014) and Calvin Abueva (2015), but finished ninth in its inaugural stint in the World Cup last year.
