Antonio said he is in touch with Paras' dad Benjie but has yet to talk to the 6-foot-6 forward about his plans after making the decision to leave US NCAA Division I side Cal State Northridge.

The Gilas official, however, is certain of the 20-year-old high-flyer's commitment with the national team.

"I think he's here to stay. Up to what his plans are I'm not really sure. Atleast I'm confident of his commitment sa Gilas."

Whatever Paras' decision will be with regards to his career, Antonio is happy that Kobe's commitment with the national team remains unshaken.

"Everybody's excited and anxious for Kobe's return. He's been committed to our program, to SBP in general and even our 3x3 (program). So we anticipate excitement and his coming back," Antonion said.

"We'll see how we can progress from now. We'd like to know what his plans are. "
