KAI Sotto is heading back to the Philippines where he is expected to join the preparations of Gilas Pilipinas Youth in the Fiba Under-19 World Cup later this month.
Sotto posted a photo on his Instagram with his family at the airport with the caption “We are now heading back. See you in a bit Philippines.”

Sotto is returning to the Philippines as he is part of the pool of Gilas Pilipinas Youth for the 2019 Fiba Under-19 Basketball World Cup that will happen June 29 to July 7 in Heraklion, Greece.
Sotto has been training in Atlanta in preparation for his upcoming stint in Europe, but vowed to return to the country to play for the national youth team bound for Greece.
Fil-Nigerian AJ Edu, another highly touted youth player for Gilas, has already joined in the team’s preparations in the World Cup.
