The Ginebra import was just hours removed from celebrating the Commissioner’s Cup title after the Gin Kings defeated Bay Area, 114-99, in Game Seven at the Philippine Arena.
During the simple rites, Senators JV Ejercito and Bong Go handed Republic Act 11937, the law granting Brownlee Filipino citizenship, to the Ginebra import.
