While he cannot reveal the team he will play for just yet, the 35-year-old Gilas Pilipinas naturalized player said he is set to leave on Sunday.
Brownlee agreed with a deal until June, and will have a player option available after that if he wants to continue playing.
His next Gilas call-up will not come until the Olympic qualifiers in July.

The trip has the blessing of Gilas and Ginebra coach Tim Cone since it will keep Brownlee in shape before his next national team call-up.
Ginebra also has no import-spiced tournament to play during that span.
"It was coach Tim pushing me to play so I'd stay in condition," he continued.
The Indonesian gig will reunite him with former Terrafirma import Lester Prosper, an Indonesia naturalized player who is now a fixture in the IBL.
