FRESH off a championship in the PBA 50th Season Commissioner's Cup, the Ginebra core of Justin Brownlee, RJ Abarrientos, Scottie Thompson, and Troy Rosario continue working with head coach Tim Cone, as they front the Philippines' effort in the third window of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 Asian Qualifiers.
The four Gin Kings were part of the 12-man lineup revealed on Thursday by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas for the national team's games in Perth against New Zealand on July 3 then Australia on July 6.

Not part of the roster were young bigs Kai Sotto and Quentin Millora-Brown, as the lack in size will be hoped to be filled by UAAP Season 88 Finals MVP Mike Phillips, who is set for his debut as a local, and Converge star Justine Baltazar.

Completing the list are AJ Edu, June Mar Fajardo, Chris Newsome, Kevin Quiambao, Dwight Ramos, and Carl Tamayo.
