Animam is coming off a solid performance with Gilas Women in the FIBA Women’s World Cup Pre-Qualifiers in Kigali, Rwanda where she led the Philippines with averages of 13.0 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.0 blocks, and 1.7 steals.

This marks the 6-foot-5 bruiser’s return to the continent where she first got her break as a pro back in 2021 when she signed with Radnicki Kragujevac in Serbia.
