TICKETS for the match-up between Chinese Taipei and China in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 Asian Qualifiers to be played at the Mall of Asia Arena on March 1 are already available.

The SM Tickets showed that tickets for the 4:30 p.m. match are sold separately from the 7 p.m. clash between Gilas Pilipinas and Australia to be held at a later date.

FIBA decided that the game between Chinese Taipei and China will be held at a neutral site, with the Philippines gaining the hosting rights.

Among the notable players that could see action for Chinese Taipei is Ray Chen and Brandon Gilbeck, who are part of the pool for Window 2.

Chen torched Gilas Pilipinas with 34 points during the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 group stage, while Gilbeck is their naturalized 7-foot big man.

Not part of the Chinese Taipei pool, however, is Mohammad Al Bachir Gadiaga, who suffered a thigh and ankle injury recently.

China intends to bring its best players with FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Mythical Five winner Hu Jinqiu part of the pool.
