AUSTRALIA proved too much for Gilas Women 3x3, hacking out a 21-10 win for the top spot in Pool D of the FIBA Asia Cup Saturday at the OCBC Arena in Singapore.
The Philippines settled for the no. 2 spot in Pool D with an even 1-1 record, having beaten Tonga earlier, 19-10.

The Aussies topped the pool with a 2-0 record.
Gilas will be meeting second seed Mongolia in the knockout stage on Sunday as it seeks to duplicate its semifinals finish in last year’s edition of the tournament.
