GILAS Pilipinas took a commanding 50-36 halftime lead over Guam on Monday in their FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 Asian Qualifiersrat the Blue Eagle Gym.
Unlike in Friday's road game, there was no slow start for Gilas in its home game after racing to a 17-3 advantage and opening as much as a 27-point lead.

Dwight Ramos, Justin Brownlee, and Quentin Millora-Brown led the offensive attack iin the first half as Gilas looks to replicate its win in the Guam tie.
Dwight Ramos had nine points on 4-of-5 shooting from the field, while Brownlee added eight points, six of those from free throws.

Millora-Brown is on pace for another good outing in his first Gilas home game with six points and four rebounds in the first half.
Jericho Cruz had late baskets in the first half and had 11 points at the break to slice the gap to what it was at the halftime break.
